Wrong way Lady!

Yesterday wasn't a very good day for our family.
I had to leave work early for a doctor's appointment, where I ended up fainting (again).
Since I left early DJ picked Hannah up from Monica's and headed home. He had made it almost to the Spanish Fork exit when out of the blue (or should I say dust) came this little old lady. She came from the northbound lanes through the medium and straight in front of DJ and Hannah. All DJ could think was to tell Hannah to hold on (why daddy?). Thank heaven he only hit her with the front right corner of his truck not head on. He doesn't know where he hit her though all he saw was dust.
He called 911 then called me to come and get Hannah. Well I wasn't really up to driving yet (the whole fainting thing and all) so I had to call my mom to rescue us. My dad drove me and our car so that DJ would have something to drive home in since they had to tow his truck (which they say will probably be totaled). My mom followed with Hillary and the boys.
Everyone, even the old lady, is fine.
So much for the new engine.

July 3rd "Campout"

We had a fun campout again this year on the 3rd.
Yummy Taco Salad, Homemade Ice Cream, and fireworks.
Tent set up this year went fairly good, we only had 1 issue that we didn't bother to fix. Upside down rain flies still work by the way.
Here was Hannah all tucked in ready for bed.
The next morning we all had pancakes for breakfast then went our separate ways
Until 8:30 that is, when we all showed up at the secret viewing spot for the Stadium of Fire. We once again ate Pizza and shared snacks. Luckily the rain missed us. As soon as it was over we were outta there before the major traffic hit. After all these years we have it down to a science

June Activities
June was way busy just like every other month so far.
Here are just a few little snap shots of some of the fun things we did during the month.
These are from the Adams Family Reunion up Springville canyon. We had so much fun. They always have a really big turnout with a raffle that lasts almost 4 hours. Kinda puts my family's 30 min from start to finish raffle to shame. Oh well we can always dream right?
Hannah finally got her very own big girl bike (with the training wheels of course) maybe now she will stop stealing the neighbor boys. She hasn't mastered corners yet so we need to get her a helmet so she doesn't hurt herself.
Happy Fathers Day!
Hannah helped daddy make yummy homemade ice cream to have for desert at my mom and dad's house. It was so good that we are going to add it to our annual 3rd of July camp out.
This was one CRAZY dinner for my mom's retirement. We all remember now why we do not got out to dinner with the kids, we were just grateful that they stuck us in the back room where no one else could witness the madness.
