Animals Galore!

Libby finally had her puppies last week, good thing to she was HUGE!
She is now our very own Octomom.
Look at how much these little guys love each other! If anyone out there wants one, we still have 7 homes to find. My favorite one (ok so I have several favorites) has already been spoken for by a neighbor. At least one will go to a good home I guess.
Saturday was another fun filled fishing day with Papa, DJ, and Hannah. They all caught their limits, take a look at their loot When my mom and I returned home from a day of quilting at Aunt Gins, they had dinner all cooked up and waiting of us. Hannah devoured the fish, she is quite the eater when she wants to be.

Another Birthday times 2

We had another exciting weekend.
We started out by going camping for only the 3rd time this year. DJ, my Dad, Uncle Ken and Hannah went fishing where Hannah (aka everyone else) caught lots of fish. Here is the biggest one "she" got. Then we celebrated my Moms Birthday Later in the Day we got a call from My cousin Jeff and his wife Joni that their little Jonathan had finally been born. Here is a picture of the proud grandparents getting their first look(via cell phone) at their new grandson since they couldn't be there in person.

Congratulations guys, he sure is cute (sorry I stole the picture off Facebook, I couldn't get the one off my camera)

New things

Hannah did a lot of new things this month.
She started going to a new babysitter since Lily will be born soon.
She was having a rough time getting the new rules down, but she is doing much better now.

She had to go to the dentist and have some work done for her first time. She did awesome thanks to the laughing gas and the best dentist ever. She never even noticed the needle.
After the dentist we took her to the zoo to try to keep her mind off of her numb mouth. She finally got to ride on the train and carousel since they were closed from the rain on the last visit. She picked what she wanted to ride on all by herself. She told us that it was for Aunt Monica.
On Saturday Hannah got to got to her first real Birthday Party for her friend Allie.
She had so much fun pinning the candle on the cupcake, helping smash the piƱata, and decorating her own cupcake to eat. Thanks Allie for inviting me, happy birthday!

That brings us to today.

Today was her first day of Preschool. Off and on all week, she kept saying that she didn't want to go then would change her mind and be so excited. So this morning she started off with not wanting to go. I finally convinced her when I reminded her that one of the neighbor girls she is friends with would be there too. She finally got ready and we headed out the door after the official "First Day of Preschool" picture.

But as soon as we got there she freaked out again, until Heather showed up and she was fine. Then she freaked out again when I tried to leave. The teacher had to pry her off of me since she had grabbed hold of me so tight. I had to leave her there crying, But I know she will have fun.

Dentist Visit

Hannah went to the Dentist last week for a normal check up. She brushed and flossed her teeth so good and even let the nurse take pretty pictures of her teeth for the Dentist to look at

Then as we waited for him to come in and check them, she got to play a fun video game

Unfortunately, she didn't get a very good review. She has 3 teeth that are chipped and needs to go back in 2 more times this month to get them "fixed". It sucks because they are obviously still baby teeth but what do you do when she won't get adult teeth for several more years. She now has special toothpaste at home to help make the enamel stronger and has her very own bag of flossers. Hopefully the visit next week will not traumatize her and make her hate going to the Dentist. Guess we will have to wait and see....

P.S. Hope you get feeling better soon Maxwell, We Love you!

Wrong way Lady!

Yesterday wasn't a very good day for our family.
I had to leave work early for a doctor's appointment, where I ended up fainting (again).
Since I left early DJ picked Hannah up from Monica's and headed home. He had made it almost to the Spanish Fork exit when out of the blue (or should I say dust) came this little old lady. She came from the northbound lanes through the medium and straight in front of DJ and Hannah. All DJ could think was to tell Hannah to hold on (why daddy?). Thank heaven he only hit her with the front right corner of his truck not head on. He doesn't know where he hit her though all he saw was dust.
He called 911 then called me to come and get Hannah. Well I wasn't really up to driving yet (the whole fainting thing and all) so I had to call my mom to rescue us. My dad drove me and our car so that DJ would have something to drive home in since they had to tow his truck (which they say will probably be totaled). My mom followed with Hillary and the boys.
Everyone, even the old lady, is fine.
So much for the new engine.

July 3rd "Campout"

We had a fun campout again this year on the 3rd.
Yummy Taco Salad, Homemade Ice Cream, and fireworks.
Tent set up this year went fairly good, we only had 1 issue that we didn't bother to fix. Upside down rain flies still work by the way.
Here was Hannah all tucked in ready for bed.
The next morning we all had pancakes for breakfast then went our separate ways
Until 8:30 that is, when we all showed up at the secret viewing spot for the Stadium of Fire. We once again ate Pizza and shared snacks. Luckily the rain missed us. As soon as it was over we were outta there before the major traffic hit. After all these years we have it down to a science

June Activities
June was way busy just like every other month so far.
Here are just a few little snap shots of some of the fun things we did during the month.
These are from the Adams Family Reunion up Springville canyon. We had so much fun. They always have a really big turnout with a raffle that lasts almost 4 hours. Kinda puts my family's 30 min from start to finish raffle to shame. Oh well we can always dream right?
Hannah finally got her very own big girl bike (with the training wheels of course) maybe now she will stop stealing the neighbor boys. She hasn't mastered corners yet so we need to get her a helmet so she doesn't hurt herself.
Happy Fathers Day!
Hannah helped daddy make yummy homemade ice cream to have for desert at my mom and dad's house. It was so good that we are going to add it to our annual 3rd of July camp out.
This was one CRAZY dinner for my mom's retirement. We all remember now why we do not got out to dinner with the kids, we were just grateful that they stuck us in the back room where no one else could witness the madness.

Canada Eh?

I know I have been a huge slacker, but finally something new to write about.

On Wednesday Kurt finally got his Mission papers back which held his fate for the next 2 years. We all waited paitently until some family members were able to join us by speakerphone, to hear where he was headed.

Congratulations Kurt! We will all miss you

P.S. Happy Birthday David

More Easter

Easter Part 3
Saturday morning we woke up bright and early and took Kameron, Kayla, Kinzie and hannah to the Payson city Easter Egg Hunt. Lucky Kayla ended up grabbing an egg that was a winner. She walked away with a fun pack of markers and soaking wet.

Part 4
Next the group headed to Payson Market for another Hunt which ended up not really being a hunt just more like grab the candy off the ground before you get trampled race. The 2 little ones made off fairly good, lots of Salt Water Taffy and balloons.

Part 5
We dropped the 3 K's off back at home and headed for Grandma's and Papa's for our Easter activities and lunch/dinner. As you can tell Hannah was a little excited to use her new bucket (I broke the other one, oops Dora's dead honey sorry)

We colored eggs, had a cupcake walk, and raced in teams to get across the lawn and back with out dropping the eggs. Monica unfortunately, used up her 1 fall per pregnancy card during the race, which caused her team to loose. Hope you stop hurting soon Aunt monca.

Part 6 (actual Easter)
Hannah woke up to this stash from the Easter Bunny. Needless to say, it was all picked through and over in less than 3 minutes.

Dad had to let the dog outside and let Hannah go outside with them. She soon discovered that that mean bunny had put eggs all over the front yard. She was so mad at him. I don't think she likes
any of the poor holiday Mascots. Just ask her about the mean Avocadoes (aka Leprechauns)

Part 7
Here we are at Grandma Karla's house getting ready for another Hunt. These kids sure know what they are doing by now. Hannah even tried to pick up some real duck eggs but we stopped her just in time. That wouldn't have been a fun egg to crack open. We had a yummy dinner and sat outside and watched all of the kids play on
"Maggie" (aka the swing set).
Hannah snuck away and fed the horse. It was a little scary with huge teeth chomping so close to those tiny little fingers.
We sure had lots of fun but are sooooo glad that this holiday is finally over. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Birthdays/ Easter Parts 1 and 2

First off Birthday's

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MONICA (yesterday)

(I know this wasn't the picture you posted but I have access ... it makes me laugh)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD (friday)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX (saturday)

Easter festivities

(part 1)

Here is a picture from our annual Easter Eggs for the babies at the Provo Cemetery on Tuesday. Pretty colorful I think (if you can see them). This is fun every year especially if your kid isn't the one picking them all up and walking off with them. Owen did awesome this year, I don't think he walked off with any.

Easter Festivities

(part 2)
This is from the annual Nuskin Easter egg hunt on Wendesday. It was pretty stormy and cold so there wasn't very many kids there this year. Here is Hannah and her friend Allie patiently waiting for the hunt to start.

She made a good haul, and had fun despite the cold and rain.

She's one of us

The other day we went to the Mexican restaurant in Payson to eat dinner. After Hannah pieced on her meal (which she only ate the olives, tomatoes, and the guacamole off) she decided that she wanted to finish off the chips. Below, is the picture of her licking up the crumbs from the chips and salt. Yep she's a saltaholic like the rest of us.

Oh the Horror...

Wednesday I made the fatal mistake of taking Hannah's blanket and throwing it in the washer while she was sleeping. HUGE MISTAKE. As you can see the following tantrum erupted when she woke up, only minutes before it went into the dryer, and lasted the entire time it took to dry.

And yes I finally caved and took it out still slightly wet because I couldn't handle her screaming anymore.
I am going to be in so much trouble when it falls apart like E's "Q" did. Maybe we will be lucky enough to have Mrs. Claus make her a new one when that time comes.
